A Letter From Our Founder

When I was 7 years old, my mom read The Chronicles of Narnia to me and thus I began an epic quest to escape my dull, ordinary life. In the middle of the night I’d get up, open my closet, shut my eyes in hopeful anticipation, and step inside with a prayer on my lips to Aslan that the back would magically vanish. I was always left with disappointment when my fingertips brushed a hard wall, rather than tree branches and open air.

Far from dampening my adventurous spirit, this only fueled it further. As I grew older, my appetite for fantasy novels and films became insatiable; I was a bona fide enthusiast of the genre, even before fully grasping the essence of the term 'nerd.' I then decided I would learn the skills I believed necessary to become a knight: horseback riding, archery, and fencing. If I could not transport myself into a fantasy world, then I would live a fantasy life.

Now the year is 2024 and I can proudly say, that albeit some hardships and distractions along the way, I have successfully made a full fledged career out of living a fantasy life. This journey led to the inception of Paravelle, a sanctuary crafted to share the magic with others. Paravelle is for the wanderlust adventurers with restless hearts, the hopeful romantics, those who've humorously yet earnestly sought Narnia in the confines of their closets. It is a testament that hope remains vibrant, even when paths to Middle Earth, Velaris, or Erilea are but dreams. Here, you are only bound by the limits of your imagination. So, join us in our world, where every soul may weave their own fairytale. Welcome to Paravelle.

Welcome home.
